The RO membrane rejects minerals that cause scale build-up and corrosion. Permeate Pump included.

Our 3M™ Commercial Reverse Osmosis Scale Reduction System for Boilerless Steamers, Combi-Ovens & Flash Steamers, Model SGLP-RO is designed to reduce hardness minerals, particulate** and chlorine taste and odor** that can cause equipment downtime and decrease profitability. This system contains activated carbon and particulate** pre-treatment which helps protect the RO membrane from chlorine taste and odor** and fine particulate**. Our SGLP-RO system helps to reduce scale build-up that can block drain outlets and make cleaning difficult in steamers. This compact design allows for installation in tight areas.

Poor water quality can affect steam equipment in many ways. Shards of scale can block blow-down drains, scale build-up increases energy consumption, and excess chlorine can oxidize parts and fittings, reducing service life.
