Description
The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ In-Line Water Filter System, AP717, is designed to improve drinking water and ice quality by reducing sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and scale. This single cartridge system is ideal for refrigerators without built-in filters, drinking fountains, ice makers, and coffee machines. It uses activated carbon and progressive porosity media to filter down to 5 microns, ensuring cleaner water for up to 1,500 gallons (5,678 liters) at a flow rate of 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm).
With ¼” push-in fittings for easy installation, the system is built with FDA-compliant materials and meets NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for safety. It operates within a wide temperature range (40°F to 100°F) and pressure range (25 to 125 psi). The AP717 requires no contact with the filter media during cartridge change-out, ensuring a sanitary process. This reliable filter is ideal for both home and commercial use, with a filter life of up to six months.
